Boat Building- Charter, Passenger & Work Boats

Charter Boats

  • 30 seat aluminium charter boat.

Passenger Vessels from 7.4 to 12 metres

 

  • All Catamaran Passenger Vessels are of aluminium construction, built to U.S.L. standards and are powered by two 250hp outboard motors and has a maximum speed of 26 knots fully laden.
  • The pictured vessel is our 10m x 4.5m Catamaran Passenger Vessel, licensed to carry 48 passengers plus one crew.
  • Maximum draft is 520mm, making it well suited for use on shallow waters.
  • The Catamaran Passenger Vessel has glass windows all round giving excellent visibility, and is fitted with onboard toilet facilities. This makes it an ideal vessel for sight-seeing cruises as well as passenger ferry services.
  • The front access allows for pick-up and set-down of passengers on river banks and beach areas, with side loading for wharf access.
  • We manufacture Tri-Hull Vessels suitable for choppy waters such as tidal rivers and estuaries, and Flat Bottom Vessels ideal for still waters such as inland rivers and lakes.

Work Boat

 

  • Bale Defence Industries are leading manufacturers of aluminium workboats and passenger vessels. We have secured the services of one of Australia’s leading Naval Architects and are able to design and develop craft to suit individual applications. These can be delivered in a variety of stages, from bare hull to fully fitted-out according to specific requirements.
  • We have constructed workboats to 12 metres, with workspace, wheelhouse, diesel powered crane, fire fighting capacity, sub-floor storage and 4 stroke outboard motive power.
  • Our oyster punts made with 4mm marine grade aluminium feature fully welded construction, self draining cockpit/work space, petrol driven crane and waterpump, multi compartment watertight sub-floor buoyancy and transom mounted fuel/outboard pods (if required).
